Is this the first image of the Disgaea 5 characters?

Back in March, Nippon Ichi announced that the next game in the Disgaea series would be announced this Fall. Disgaea 5 is -obviously- what everybody is expecting, and we assume that the development started long time ago.

Now, the company has sent out its mid-summer greeting card where we can see  a group of characters that look very similar to what we could expect for a Disgaea game.

That scarf definitely looks like some kind of “5”…

Nippon Ichi confirmed that they will be announcing its first PS4 game at TGS 2014, which will be held at Makuhari Messe from September 18 to September 21.
