Square Enix trademarks "The Seeds of Salvation" in the U.S. Possible new Dragon Quest game coming to the West

If you remember, back in November Square Enix registered Luminaries of the Legendary Line and The Seeds of Salvation in Japan. Here on VGLeaks we talked about the possibility of this being Square-Enix planning to bring more Dragon Quest games to the West.

Now, the company has registered one of those names –The Seeds of Salvation– in the U.S. as we can see in the USPTO (The United States Patent and Trademark Office) website.

The trademark is rumored to be a new Dragon Quest game coming to the West. The title fits the pattern of alliteration seen in Dragon Quest 4: Chapters of the Chosen, Dragon Quest 5: Hand of the Heavenly Bride, Dragon Quest 6: Realms of Revelation and Dragon Quest 9: Sentinels of the Starry Skies.

In fact, some rumors are saying that this could actually be the western title for Dragon Quest X for Wii, Dragon Quest VII Remake for Nintendo 3DS or for some of the recently announced Dragon Quest titles for iOS and Android.
